Gigi is an energetic 8 year old mini Aussie. She loves playing frisbee and requires daily walks of a couple miles to keep her centered and calm.
She is crate trained and house trained and likes to nap close by while her foster mom works.
Gigi may look delicate, but she loves getting dirty. Whether she’s immediately ruining her bath by rolling in mud or rubbing herself on dead grubs, she constantly tests her foster mom’s grooming skills. Because of her thick coat, she must have regular brushing.
She is a bit hand-shy and distrustful but is learning that people can touch gently and not all big dogs want to attack. She gets along with her foster siblings (female border collie and male coonhound mix) but would be fine as an only dog. She hasn’t been tested with cats but would likely be okay with them.
Gigi is assertive when she wants to play and enjoys snuggling. She just needs a person who is willing to keep her active and mentally stimulated.
