Rudder is a 7 year old Border Collie mix

Rudder came to me as a foster on his way to a new home. However, his anxiety and fear, manifested as aggression and his new family decided not to adopt him. Then covid hit and he stayed with me. 

I've been working with him and on his reactivity for these years and while he is immensly better, he is not perfect (no dog is) and needs a family that will continue to work with him and love him how he is.

He left his first family because of the small children and since then has lived in a home with teens and adults.

What he IS

loving, smart and obedient

willing to learn and will do anything for a reward

he can get along with other dogs and people if you take is slow and steady. 

he loves his family, if there are no small children

he wants to be by your side but not too close
